I’m sitting in my freezing flat and being distracted by everything. I think I need to leave the house to get some work done. I’ve got three major assignments due in the next three weeks. I feel okay about it but I’ve got a lot of work to do in the next little while.

I’ve been going to the gym and lifting weights. I’m surprised how much I enjoy it. It is an extra hour that I get to catch up on my science and philosophy podcasts for one. Yesterday I saw a woman wearing a Serenity t-shirt and reading what looked like Dickens on the cycle machines. Cool.

T is leaving Wellington and heading back home. I’m really sad about this but we’ll manage. It’s the right decision for her. I’ll stay here and finish school and join her when I’m done.

EDIT: I’ve just noticed that there doesn’t seem to be an apostrophe in the character set of the font I chose for my headings. In the back end I have “Where it’s at” but that’s not what’s showing. Eeeeek! This is most disturbing.
