Who?

Jen Crothers is film maker, artist and compulsive organiser. Her second film, Butch Tits, won the OutTV Hot Pink Shorts audience choice award at the 2010 Vancouver Queer Film Festival and Best Short Documentary at the 2011 Bangalore Queer Film Festival. Sissy, another Super 8 film, is in production.

I am Tasmanian.

I have a BSc with a mathematics major and a Master of Library and Information Studies (MLIS).

I have lived in Australia (Wynyard, Hobart, Sydney, Melbourne), Ireland (Dublin, Belfast), Canada (Vancouver), New Zealand/Aotearoa (Wellington) and I’m now back in Vancouver.

Some things I like:

  • making art-like stuff
  • maps, GIS and the rest
  • data analysis, proofing your survey
  • swimming
